The Leeds Hunters are proud to announce that we are now officially affiliated with Yorkshire Carnegie.

The partnership means Hunters will benefit from support and specialist coaching from the Championship club including masterclasses from first team players. Members are set to benefit immediately with Carnegie’s Alex Davies and Ben West due to attend Wednesday’s training session.

Sam Kerry, Community Rugby Development Coach for Yorkshire Carnegie said: “We are delighted to welcome Leeds Hunters into our family of affiliated clubs. For a Club that is still relatively new, to have over 50 members, attracting both new and returning players to the game, just shows the fantastic work they are doing. We look forward to working with them for the rest of the season, as well as seasons to come.”

As part of affiliation, Yorkshire Carnegie have pledged to support the club through monthly coaching sessions led by the community team.

Tony Aimson, Leeds Hunters Chairman, said: “For a team who have recently celebrated their first anniversary, we are extremely honoured to be affiliated with Yorkshire Carnegie, having their support along with experience and assistance with training will be a vast benefit to our players and coaching team. We are looking forward to a long relationship with Yorkshire Carnegie.”
